Dr Estella was born in Queensland and graduated from the University of Queensland (Medicine) in 1994 with the prize in medicine therapeutics. He has spent time working in rural and metropolitan Queensland, Victoria and New Zealand. The different locations, and people he has treated, have led Dr Estella to develop an individual approach to each patient, investigating and managing their needs and conditions.

His endocrine training commenced in Brisbane at the Princess Alexandra Hospital and the Greenslopes Hospital. He has undertaken further studies and a PhD in the area of Type 1 diabetes.

Dr Estella has authored many articles and medical papers and is dedicated to keeping up-to-date with the latest medical developments. He visits to the Mater Private and Mater Mothers Private Hospitals.

His outpatient practices are at the Taylor Medical Centre and Brookwater Specialist Clinic in the Ipswich area.

Dr Estella aims to combine current medical evidence with consultation and discussion to create positive and healthy outcomes.
